In these days, everyone craves to read and generate real content, but most of us have a limited time budget on our hands and want to be in sync with the news as time allows. I learned a long time ago, from pros (Businessweek magazine), that you should serve this category of readers. Most of them are jumping through your post and read selectively from it.

Add a short summary at the end of the post.

It helps you to structure the writing and, if compelling, will make the reader appreciate the thought. If summary has traction then the post gets the intended scope. As one other author said, start with the end, and develop it from there.
