We did not envision to create this app, but it looked like an easy extension from our previous application – Car Maintenance. We thought the existent expenses apps (in Google Store) can be used by any of us but it seems there were missing pieces suggested by users or even gathered from our experience as shoppers.
A few scenarios prompted us on thinking why do not extend our existent app to cover them?
Any shopping user receives monthly notifications from different service providers with due dates for their invoices. Why not gather them in one place and be notified when the due date is coming?

There are cases when expensive purchases have warranties as 2-3 years and for a complain you need proof or purchase and the serial number or bar code or etc…. The management of warranties seems to be linked to that of expenses.
Cross-border workers need this feature (or long haul truckers;).
Some people are using credit cards for the cash-back reward. Being able to monitor when you switch from one percentage of cash-back to another could be a nice add-on. Other cards are waiving the fee once the total expenses are over a certain threshold.

The app can also detect the vendors based on GPS and download the information like address, phone, web-site, working hours.

For each vendor you can have a loyalty card associated in the app, instead of carrying the plastic !
