The mobile app is the front-end of the real time job dispatching for workforce – Lite Dispatch. Here are some of the ideas incorporated in the solution:
- manage mobile workforce, allow them to receive tasks/jobs where one of the components is an address along with other type of information ( description, phone number, time slot, order of the job for the day)
- manage the dispatcher access to the web site
- import customer information to be used automatically in dispatching
- show the state for each member of the workforce along with the location
- collect information about each finished job and allow extra information (pictures, signatures, bar codes, etc…)
- collect time management information for the workforce
- collect distance traveled and other parameters in order to identify areas of efficiency in running the business
